There are many food and wine events reaching out for your attendance, but I call your attention to the Orange County Food & Wine Festival because it benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Orange County. It’s from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 3, and is sponsored by the Brea Rotary Charitable Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to the Rotary International motto of “Service Above Self.”
Look for food, wine, and craft beer from top O.C. restaurants, California wineries, and craft breweries. A couple of my favorite wineries will be pouring, including Ascension Cellars, Bergström Wines, and Navarro Vineyards & Winery. In addition, there’s an interesting variety of gifts, products, and travel and entertainment items in both the silent and live auctions.
The event will be at the Marconi Automotive Museum & Foundation for Kids at 1302 Industrial Drive in Tustin. It’s a great way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon, wandering about classic automobiles, eating gourmet food, and drinking fine wine and beer as you help out youth programs in Orange County.
Tickets are $100, with reserved tables available, at OC Food and Wine.
