If you’re looking for an everyday cabernet sauvignon that won’t cost you an arm and a leg, this may be right up your alley.
Often overlooked or under appreciated, Sonoma County cabs can be very rewarding, especially to the wallet. Martini makes four other cabernet blends, but this one really delivers on a cost-per-value basis. In fact, wine critic Robert Parker called this wine, “…one of the great values in cabernet sauvignon in the marketplace.” This particular wine is a blend of small batches of grapes from Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley. Each batch balances and compliments the others in building the final wine.
It shows dark cherry and red plum in the nose, with lots of balanced fruit, great texture, and light tannins in the mouthfeel. It’s easily paired with any red meat dish, grilled chicken, or cheese, while you relax before dinner.
