Mark your calendar now for the Pacific Coast Wine Festival. The annual event will start at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the five-diamond Island Hotel in Newport Beach. Generously supported by donations, this wine tasting, wine-paired gourmet dinner in the ballroom, and silent and live auction of rare and exceptional wines, raises funds for the artistic and educational programs of Orange County’s Pacific Symphony. Last year’s soiree raised more than $372,000.
Pacific Symphony, celebrating its 36th anniversary this season, is the largest orchestra formed in the United States in the last 40 years, offering more than 100 concerts a year and an array of educational and community programs. The Symphony touches more than 275,000 Orange County residents—from school children to senior citizens.
The event will include great wines from Aubert Wines, Bond Estates, Chateau Cos d’Estournel, Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Chateau Margaux, Colgin Cellars, Harlan Estate, Marcassin, Ornellaia, Peter Michael Winery, Shafer Vineyards, Vega-Sicilia, and more. Are your salivating yet?
Formal invitations will not be sent. Contact the special events department today to reserve your table or tickets. This event always sells out, with only a little over 300 lucky guests able to attend, so don’t miss out. Contact events@pacificsymphony.org or call 714-876-2364 to obtain tickets, sign up for sponsorships, or donate items such as wine for the silent and live auctions.
