Orpheus Chamber Orchestra

The Grammy Award-winning orchestra teams up with saxophonist Branford Marsalis for a livestreamed performance of Rossini’s “Overture to ‘The Barber of Seville,’” Rodrigo’s “Suite from Soleriana,” Debussy’s “Rhapsody for Alto Sax,” and Ibert’s “Concertino da Camera Carmen Suite.” Marsalis, best known as a jazz musician, has played classical works with orchestras across the U.S. and Europe; the orchestra, which has won multiple awards for its classical recordings, played on jazz pianist Herbie Hancock’s album “Gershwin’s World.” Jan. 9 via the…

Joshua Bell

Smetana Trio

Originally founded in 1934, this piano trio has long been recognized as the top chamber ensemble from the Czech Republic. The current ensemble, with Jan Talich on violin, Jan Pálenícek on cello, and Jitka Cechová on piano, has performed across the world and recorded 11 albums. George Li

A classical pianist who’s been performing in concert halls since he was 10 years old, Li has played in venues from the White House to Carnegie Hall. After he received the silver medal at the 2015 International Tchaikovsky Competition, he began performing with philharmonics around the world, including a stint as the soloist in the Russian National Orchestra’s 2019 U.S. tour. Yefim Bronfman, piano

Six-time Grammy Award-nominee Bronfman will perform Debussy’s “Suite bergamasque” and Beethoven’s Piano Sonata Nos. 7 and 23 in this virtual concert. Alisa Weilerstein, cello, and Inon Barnatan, piano

In this virtual performance, Weilerstein and Barnatan will play three of Beethoven's cello sonatas. Weilerstein has performed at the White House and as a soloist in a tour through Venezuela with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra. Barnatan, known for his work as a chamber musician, received a 009 Avery Fisher Career Grant and Lincoln Center’s 2015 Martin E. Segal Award. Jean-Yves Thibaudet

Thibaudet, a two-time Grammy Award nominee, will perform Debussy’s Préludes, Books 1 and 2, in this virtual concert. The celebrated pianist has played as a soloist across the globe, has recorded more than 50 albums, and joined the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2010.
