David Benoit Trio

“Kinky Boots”

Laguna Beach Music Festival

Pianist and composer Conrad Tao will serve as artistic director for this year’s festival, which will be held both in person at the Irvine Barclay Theatre and online. The New York Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic, and Dallas Symphony Orchestra have commissioned Tao’s work, and he’s created a composition for dancer and choreographer Caleb Teicher, who will join him on the first night of the festival. On the second night, Tao will perform with the JACK Quartet, and on the third night, he’ll play with violinist Stefan Jackiw and The Westerlies.  May 14 through…

Ron Kobayashi Trio with Andrea Miller

“Hermitage: The Power of Art”

In this livestreamed event, Italian actor Toni Servillo leads audiences through the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia, an architecturally significant collection of buildings that house the largest collection of paintings in the world. Sergio Assad and Clarice Assad with Third Coast Percussion

Orpheus Chamber Orchestra with Branford Marsalis

Mark Synnott has traveled to Greenland, Russia, Patagonia and Nepal, among others, to find unclimbed rock faces to scale, and he’s made first ascents of some of the world’s tallest walls.
