Hotel Worthy Guestroom in Corona Del Mar

Vintage touches with a dose of luxe combine to create the comfortable guest room in this Corona del Mar home. Using colors chosen by the clients, interior designer Erica Bryen created “a cozy, yet bold space to give the room a hotel vibe.” With embroidered textiles, pops of gold, and custom touches, the room strikes a gentle balance between global and polished.

1 • ACCENT WALL
Using Phillip Jeffries gold-studded sea grass wallcovering, Bryen makes a statement, introducing texture and detail.

2 • HEADBOARD
The custom-made, sand‑washed linen headboard provides a stark contrast to the dark wall.

3 • PILLOWS
Two of Kelly Wearstler’s agate print pillows complement a vintage suzani pillow Bryen purchased on a buying trip to New York.

4 • BEDDING
For extra vintage flair, Bryen had a custombedspread made from Ralph Lauren fabric.

5 • LIGHT
Sourced locally from Designer Resource Center in Costa Mesa, the bedside lamps add a touch of elegance while cleverly incorporating elements of the home’s seaside location.
