Every season, faithful followers of O.C.’s Urban Decay are rewarded with an enticing makeup collection inspired by a collaboration. This summer is no different, but this time it’s a fantasy come true.
On May 1, UD’s “Alice Through the Looking Glass” collection hits stores, a sequel to the line’s earlier “Alice in Wonderland” offerings based on the 2010 movie with Johnny Depp. The new makeup will be launched in time for the May 27 release of Disney’s latest “Alice” movie.
The first collection featured 16 shimmery rainbow hues and neutrals, an eye shadow primer, and two bright eyeliners. This time UD created 20 new shadow shades and five intense lipsticks in slightly moodier tones.
The Newport Beach-based company calls it a “trippy tribute to our favorite characters from the film”: Alice, The Mad Hatter, The Red Queen, and The White Queen to name a few. Expect five lipsticks ($18 each) from sheer nude to bright to a twisty gunmetal navy (Time) to a shimmery violet, all in colorful patterned tubes.
The company also created a beautiful, fantasy eye palette of 20 new shades ($60), packaged with a pop-up butterfly.
Like all pretty things, this 2016 Alice collection won’t last forever—last time it sold out in hours. Get it at select Macy’s, Sephora, and Ulta stores, or online at urbandecay.com, sephora.com, ultra.com, and beauty.com.
