StyleCon is coming! StyleCon is coming!

We’re so excited because it’s just a few days till StyleCon.

The day-long convention for beauty- and style-philes takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7, at The Hangar at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Orange Coast is a sponsor.)

We just got a sneak peek at the lineup of “stylebrities” and social media influencers who will appear on the “StyleStage” hosted by OC blogger Alyssa Battaglia Denny (Living in Style OC):

• At 11 a.m. positive-body warrior, People magazine cover girl Tess Holliday will be interviewed by Alyssa. Immediately afterward, Holliday, a Titian-haired plus-sized model with 1 million Instagram followers, will sign autographs and meet and greet fans at her booth on the convention floor.

• 

  At 12:30 p.m., former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, an actress and TV host who has appeared on Extra and E! News (and who is also rumored to be dating Tim Tebow), will give a trend presentation and then make an appearance at StyleCon’s massive Topshop pop-up store.   At 1 p.m., author Kathryn Eisman (“How to tell a Woman by Her Handbag”) will talk about the “Psychology of Style”.

• Also, O.C.’s own Manna Kadar Cosmetics will present Miss California USA 2015, Natasha Martinez, and Miss Teen California 2015, Melanie Mitchell, who will sign autographs and greet fans.

• In between panels and interviews, 18-year-old Adidas-sponsored fitness pro Cambrie Schroder (daughter of actor Ricky Schroder) and her workout team will take the stage for exercise demonstrations.

  

We also snagged some intel on the StyleCon panels slated for Saturday, starting with a 10:30 a.m. Topshop Fall Trends panel. In the afternoon, local and nationally-known bloggers and style influencers will discuss “Perfect Skin at Any Age”, “The Perfect Instagram Photo”, “Beauty Brush Up” and “Holiday 2015” trends.

All day long, attendees can shop, eat snacks at food trucks, peruse various style and beauty brands, get makeovers by Blushington or a blow-out from Blowtini, or have their denim distressed by Topshop experts.

Tickets for StyleCon cost $29 — which includes a StyleTote filled with $100 worth of product and a copy of Orange Coast Magazine’s November Hot Shops issue. VIP tickets cost $79 and includes a StyleTote with even more goodies.
