If you’re craving Korean street food, then this post is for you! Last week, I grabbed lunch at Urban Seoul–a relatively new Korean-fusion restaurant at Diamond Jamboree. I went on Taco Tuesday and had some of the most delicious tacos I’ve tasted in a long time! $5 buys you three tacos of your choice, and I chose to try the crispy pork belly, gogi beef, and spicy pork.
Though it’s hard to chose, I have to say my favorite was the spicy pork. Overflowing with juicy pieces of meat coated in their special hot sauce, it’s topped off with shredded cabbage, aioli and crumbled cotija cheese—nom! If tacos aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other mouth-watering choices such as the gogi beef sliders and bibim bowls loaded with rice, veggies and your choice of meat, which are equally enticing.
Beware: The line was out the door, so best to make a trip there just before or after the lunch rush. 2750 Alton Parkway, suite 131, Irvine, 949-553-0188, urban-seoul.com
