Starting today, Disneyland is kicking off a birthday bash for Mickey and Minnie, complete with two new parade floats, a stunning projection and fireworks show, and of course, themed food. Here are some aspects of the celebration you don’t want to miss!

1Mickey-Shaped Eats
Everything tastes better when it’s Mickey-shaped. Can you spot the Hidden (or not-so-hidden) Mickeys?

2 Disney Treat-Themed Swag
You’ve seen the viral Mickey doughnut ears, but it doesn’t stop there. Expect even more Disney treat-themed apparel to roll out from now through summer.

We were just focusing on foods found throughout the parks. We did the cupcakes, the dole whips, and the churros. What was next? What are some foods in the park that people gravitate towards?” —Ashley Cortez, Global Merchandise Strategy Assistant

3The Debut of “Mickey’s Mix Magic”
A brand new, all-in-one projection and fireworks show/dance party

I think ‘Mickey’s Mix Magic’ is really going to surprise our guests. It’s unlike anything we’ve done with a projection show before, both visually with bright kaleidoscope colors and musically with the fun, electro-swing tunes that ‘DJ’ Mickey spins. It’s such a good time, and I can’t wait to see kids of all ages enjoying this massive dance party throughout Disneyland Park!” —Steven Davidson, Executive Creative Director of Parades & Spectaculars for Disney Parks Live Entertainment

Good to Know
➜ There will be multiple viewing locations for “Mickey’s Mix Magic” at Disneyland Park, including Main Street U.S.A., It’s A Small World, and Rivers of America. Each viewing location has a unique projection design and experience. Pro tip: Watch from Main Street for the lasers and fireworks. Watch from It’s A Small World for a better, crisper projection show.
➜ The fireworks aspect of “Mickey’s Mix Magic” is only on select nights, which will be updated online. The dance party/projection show should take place nightly.

4The Return of “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade”
Look out for two new opening parade floats featuring our favorite mouse.

We can’t wait for guests to see how we’re going to rock the opening of this parade! These colorful new floats kick off the parade with a really invigorating new energy.” —Steven Davidson, Executive Creative Director of Parades & Spectaculars for Disney Parks Live Entertainment
