Chi-Chi Champagne Cinco de Mayo
The St. Regis Monarch Beach has invited its Punta Mita, Mexico, chef de cuisine Hugo Gutierrez to serve up his signature Punta Mita tacos and sopes: papa con chorizo, frijoles con queso, chicharon en salsa verde, and birria for a special Champagne brunch Sunday, May 5 at 10 a.m. Already have Cinco plans? Santa Ana Street Fair
The 14th annual “Calle Cuatro” Cinco de Mayo festival hosted by the City of Santa Ana and MX LIVE Entertainment is expected to draw more than 150,000 people. From noon to 10 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, revelers will enjoy live music, carnival rides, games, authentic festival food, and more. The city also hosts a “real” Mexican Independence Day festival in September.
