After a three-year hiatus due to COVID, the Orange County Cherry Blossom Festival returns to Huntington Beach Central Park this weekend from April 14 through 16. The event will feature Japanese dance, music, cultural exhibits, arts and crafts, and iconic Japanese food from food trucks such as Shake Ramen and Tokyo Yakisoba.

The OC Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese and Japanese American culture in Orange County. Each year, the festival brings together a variety of activities and performers that span from traditional to contemporary, such as Taiko drumming and classical dances to cosplay contests and video game tournaments.

The festival will kick off this Friday, April 14 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday hours will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday hours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy over 15 food vendors, 20 crafts and merchandise vendors, and 19 performances. Free admission and parking will be available all weekend.
