”FOREVER SIMON & GARFUNKEL”
Sean Altman and Jack Skuller take on the roles of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel in this show tracing the duo’s ascent to stardom. CHOC ADVENTURE IN THE PARK
This 5K walk through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure returns in person this year. The walk, which has raised $37.5 million since it began, will take place in the evening. SUMMER GARDEN PARTY
Marking the end of the 26th Newport Beach Garden Tour, the annual affair features artists painting and selling their work throughout the garden. Attendees can also view mosaic artist Irina Charny’s “Inspired by Nature” exhibit, make a flower arrangement at the bouquet bar, bid on items at a silent auction, compete in the hat contest, and enjoy food from the on-site restaurant, 608 Dahlia. THE VIC SKIMBOARDING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The most prestigious skimboarding competition on the West Coast always hosts some of the world’s top talent. Dozens of pros and nearly 100 amateurs, including plenty of Laguna Beach natives who grew up skimming on local beaches, will take to the waves to compete. KCRW SUMMER NIGHTS
The Bowers will stay open late for this special event featuring live 90-minute sets from KCRW DJs José Gavlán and Francesca Harding.
