The 60th anniversary of the quintessential surf film “The Endless Summer” will be celebrated with a beach party as part of the Dana Point Film Festival, which runs from May 4 through 7 and features various documentaries screened around the city. The party begins at 3 p.m. on May 5. The free screening for “The Endless Summer” starts at 8 p.m. and will take place at Salt Creek Beach Park, which is where the iconic movie poster was staged and photographed.
