Gina Osborn is an Orange County native, retired FBI Agent and former U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent. Over lunch three months ago, colleague and former Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens told her about Tracy Miller, a career prosecutor who has overseen more than 80 jury trials and started a successful gang prevention program in Orange County. Gina was surprised she had never crossed paths with Tracy since they had both served in Orange County law enforcement for more than 20 years. Osborn and Miller met and immediately hit it off. Wasting no time, this high-octane, triple-A duo developed a podcast. The fifth episode has just dropped.
Behind the Crime Scene – a True Crime Podcast, explores the human side of the first responders, investigators, and prosecutors who were central to some of the most notorious cases in the country. They go behind the scenes to show how these cases continue to haunt the heroes who responded to them.
Each episode takes listeners on a heart-pounding journey, often revealing never-publicly-revealed details of these crimes. Osborn and Miller use their unique skills as FBI Agent and Prosecutor to share profound insights into these cases. This is not surprising because Osborn and Miller are executive-level pros who have mediated the emotional and psychological impact of reacting to catastrophic circumstances. Their expertise and compassion allows them to humanize what it is like to be ‘behind the crime scene.’
Their extensive network date back to when Miller was a law clerk on the O.J. Simpson case and Osborn worked high profile espionage cases in Europe during the end of the Cold War. Available episodes discuss the O.J. Simpson double-murder trial with lead prosecutor, Retired Assistant District Attorney Bill Hodgman, the murder of CHP officer Don Burt by a Vietnamese gang leader and the 2015 San Bernardino Terrorist Attack with former United States Attorney Eileen Decker.
Osborn and Miller will be taking their show on the road as professional speakers to share lessons they’ve learned in the trenches about leadership, communication and team building. They’ll tell inspirational and often extraordinary stories to help increase collaboration, combat crisis and chaos and achieve high morale and performance for audiences in the corporate, law enforcement and nonprofit worlds.
