Here are five things to know about NOVA Kitchen & Bar, now open for dinner daily in Garden Grove (just a few miles from the Anaheim Resort District and next to the Hyatt Regency).

1 The restaurant interiors and menu are themed to the five elements—wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
There are multiple dining rooms themed to a specific element as well as element-specific menu options. The space is elegant, modern, spacious, and whimsical. Don’t miss the ‘fire room’ filled with countless red paper cranes.

2 The menu is helmed by executive chef Abel Vargas and showcases Pan-Asian cuisine.
You can expect an array of flavors from a variety of cuisines including Japanese, Sichuan, Cantonese, Korean, and Thai. Chef Vargas has worked at O.C. restaurants including Mesa in Costa Mesa and Habana in Irvine.

3Sushi chef Kenji Haruki lends his talents and oversees NOVA’s sushi bar.
Chef Haruki has experience from Katsuya in Los Angeles and SLS in Las Vegas.

4There are over 400 beverage options.
Choose from signature cocktails, wines by the glass or bottle, local craft beer, and sake.

5There is a hidden speakeasy/karaoke room.
Looking for your next spot for karaoke night? Nova has got you covered with a karaoke room tucked near the entrance of the restaurant.
