O.C. Answer Man: How did O.C. become such a hub of hipster foodies?

Tableware expert Miss Lisa of Orange’s A&P Collectables has a theory. As our local cost of living skyrockets, and wages and benefits continue to ebb, the surprising winner turns out to be fusion—house-made, gluten-free, food-truck-inspired, free-range, grass-fed gastropub fare. Because the cost of living in Orange County is so high, millennials have concluded they will never own a home large enough to house much more than an iPad. All they can afford to be snooty about is food.
