Fondue Night at SideDoor
Every Tuesday and under the helm of Tracy Nelson, SideDoor’s cheese connoisseur, you can indulge in a sizable plate of fine cheeses, crudités, and bread. Fondue for two, anyone? $16. 3801 E. Coast Highway, Corona del Mar, 949-717-4322

Thin mint lattes at Bear Coast Coffee
The coastal coffeehouse is introducing a latte inspired by the Girl Scouts cookie staple. Made with cookies purchased from local Girl Scouts, the thin mint-flavored syrup joins a lineup of house-made syrups, including lavender, caramel, vanilla nutmeg, and mocha ganache. Almond milk and oat milk substitutes are available for $1. Available while supplies last this weekend only at both the San Clemente and Dana Point locations.

Fat-washed cocktails at Whitestone Restaurant
It may sound off-putting, but fat-washing—the process of extracting flavors through fatty liquids—creates smooth, creamy, and rich spirits. The new cocktail and bar program at Whitestone exemplifies this technique with signature cocktails featuring olive oil-washed gin, milk-washed vodka, and brown butter vodka. 34212 Pacific Coast Highway, 949-489-8911

Mochi popsicles at Pop Bar
Mochi is a trend that isn’t leaving the dessert world anytime soon. For those who love mochi’s delightfully chewy texture, head to Pop Bar for a secret menu of mochi gelato pops, available in brown sugar, Thai tea, and matcha flavors. Anaheim Packing District, 440 S. Anaheim Blvd., 714-215-4579

Nopales burritos at Hola Adios Coffeeshop
The Costa Mesa newcomer recently rounded out its menu with breakfast burritos that include beef, chicken, and vegetarian options. The latter option features grilled nopales (cactus), scrambled eggs, beans, cilantro, mushrooms, onions, tomatillo salsa, queso fresco, and desert-dusted Inca corn. $9 to $11. Available until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Anaheim Packing District, 440 S. Anaheim Blvd. or 120 Virginia Place, Costa Mesa, 949-329-8987
