Disneyland Cooks Up Unique Treats for the Holidays

The Reuben Potato Tots with Russian dressing and rye toast are part of the delicious food offerings during Disney Festival of Holidays. Available Nov. 8 – Jan. 6, this item can be be purchased at A Twist on Tradition marketplace in Disney California Adventure. (Disneyland Resort)

How many flavors for churros can you imagine? If you’re cooking up ideas at Disneyland Resort, apparently the answer is unlimited. There are at least six holiday-themed flavors for the treats at the parks this year, including pecan pie, caramel and coconut, and sugarplum candy.

If sweets aren’t your thing, be sure to get over to the Festival of Holidays at California Adventure for a few of the twists on favorites. My children couldn’t get enough of the Reuben potato tots with Russian dressing and rye toast. The folks who created those must have known they’d be a hit, as they released the recipe so you can try them for yourself at home.

These savory delights and more are available through Jan. 6, so you’ll have plenty of  options to discover if you’re planning to see the parks dressed up for the season. And of course, there’s no shortage of Mickey and Minnie Mouse shaped cookies, shepherd’s pies, and more.
