Destination Seafood House

With its cheery ambience, tastefully understated nautical decor, and multiple screens for sports viewing, Destination Seafood House is different from most strip-mall seafooders. One side is devoted to superb hand-rolled ice cream, its cylinders fashioned while you watch. On the seafood menu: salmon belly spring rolls with tamarind sauce; chile-lemongrass sea snails; ginger-and-garlic-steamed conch; salt-and-pepper crab; lobster with noodles; and clam dishes such as surf-clam salad, garlic-butter King clams, and lemon-butter razor clams. There’s poultry, too, notably the quail starter and the Central Vietnam sampler with wings, chicken-heart salad, grilled chicken feet with an addictive hot sauce, and congee. Choose from diverse combos, feasts, and platters. Popular pineapple fried rice arrives in a pineapple, and elaborate ice-cream concoctions include We are So Mint to Be and It Takes Two to Mango. $5 to $120.
