Pho, pad thai, kimchi rice, and … churros! The chains Hiccups and Churroholic—one a fast-casual Asian-fusion restaurant and teahouse, the other devoted to the Mexican fried snack—share ownership. At most locations, they’re neighbors. At the newest, they’re under the same roof. Favorites on the Hiccups menu include tofu bites, shrimp pad see ew, and brisket, tendon, and meatball pho. The topping-dipped, loop-shaped churros from Churroholic make for a colorful finish. Consider a Fruity Pebble-spangled version atop blue Cookie Monster ice cream. 3390 S.
