How do you eat healthfully?
At home, we eat lots and lots of vegetables, plus beans or lentils. I put something together, vegetarian concoctions, and use my masala box to add flavor and make it really tasty.

What’s your favorite vegetable?
It depends on what looks best at the market. Lately, I’ve been eating chard and kale that grows in the planter outside Adya. A gardener planted it while we were closed (for stay-at-home orders).

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Chocolate, for sure. I prefer dark chocolate by the piece. I have a sweet tooth and love blueberry muffins and pretzel croissants.

What’s your go-to breakfast?
Overnight chia pudding is my new standby. It’s made by combining chia seeds with almond milk and leaving the concoction in the fridge overnight. I top it with cinnamon and fresh blueberries.

Want to share a secret?
I have a turtle collection that keeps growing because friends and relatives continue gifting them. I entertain visiting children with a “count the turtles” game.
