January Travel News: National Park Service free entrance days for 2016

Every year, the National Park Service designates free entrance days for its National Parks. In 2016 visitors can shrug off entrance, tour, and car entrance fees on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 18; National Park Week, April 16-24; National Park Service Birthday, August 25-28; National Public Lands Day, September 24; and Veterans Day, November 11. The 409 parks, all of them spectacular, include Pinnacles, Denali, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Volcanoes National Park, Zion, Yellowstone in the West.
