Whole Foods Market, your source for all things sustainable and organic, has launched a new travel venture: Whole Journeys. Billed as excursions for “active foodies,” itineraries aim to immerse travelers in local cuisines and authentic culinary experiences: indigenous food festivals, conversation with native farmers, tours of wineries, and chats with local cheese makers fill the five- to 14-day tours. Alongside the usual suspects (Tuscany and Provence) you’ll find trips to the fish markets of the Bosphorus Strait and tea ceremonies in Shangri-La. Most tours cost between $3,000 and $4,500, and include guides, hotels, and most meals. wholejourneys.com
