Dale Chihuly’s Iconic Works are Now Showing on Catalina Island

Visitors to Catalina Island will have the opportunity to experience Dale Chihuly’s major Southern California museum exhibition. Chihuly’s sculptures are featured throughout the museum as well as an intimate look at some of his early works on paper. The exterior portion of the exhibition features Mille Fiori, Sea Blue and Green Tower and Yellow Spire Chandelier. The outdoor exhibition offers two different viewing experiences, one during the day when its unique shapes and bold colors glisten in the sun and one in the evening when the pieces are dramatically illuminated. Catalina Island Museum’s beautiful new home, with its outdoor atrium, landscaped gardens and views of Catalina’s canyons and clear waters, is the ideal setting for Chihuly’s masterpieces including the breathtaking 18-foot chandelier that will adorn the museum’s soaring lobby.
