Fans of the Little Onion now have a second location where they can get their fix for authentic Mexican food. The restaurant opened a new location in Irvine this week, joining the Santa Ana original that has been family owned for decades.
This second spot in Walnut Village Center features Spanish hacienda-style interior design, an outdoor patio, and of course food that turns first-timers into regulars. Items range from shrimp and chorizo tacos to pork chop with mole sauce, albondigas soup, and a variety of vegetarian options. The Little Onion in Irvine serves lunch and dinner daily starting at 11 a.m., with brunch beginning at 9 a.m. on weekends. 14429 Culver Drive, Irvine, 949-316-4600, littleonion.com
