Bark City
Located in the heart of Huntington Beach, Bark City is a doggy daycare and boarding facility that offers over 5,000 square feet of turf and a 9-inch deep in-ground splash pool, enough space for your furry best friend to play, socialize, and cool off on a hot day. The facility also offers daycare packages and additional services such as nail trims, ear cleanings, and bath and brush. Founder Bryson Berryman wanted to create a unique outdoor and indoor area that is not only comfortable for your dog but fun and safe. 8541 Edison Drive, Huntington Beach, 714-536-6191, barkcityhb.com

Peters Canyon
If you’re looking to get outdoors with your pooch, Peters Canyon in Orange is the perfect location. The 5.9-mile loop trail is very popular and welcomes dogs on leash. The trail is accessible year-round, and you’ll get views of the forest, wildflowers, lake, and even some local wildlife. 8548 Canyon View Ave., Orange, 714-973-6611, ocparks.com/parks-trails/peters-canyon-regional-park

With three locations all in Orange County, Woofpak Pet Kitchen is a takeout dog cafe where every item on the menu is made fresh and simple with all-natural ingredients. They offer everything from pint-sized turkey, salmon, and beef bowls to birthday cakes, cookies, egg tarts, and even donuts. Locations in Irvine, Newport Beach, and Tustin, woofpakpetkitchen.com

Naked Dog Bistro
This shop offers organic, gluten-free dog food, treats, and more for dogs. Pick up some fresh-baked, grain-free treats or even order a custom dog cake (shaped like a bone!) for your best friend. The shop also offers CBD dog treats and oils to help alleviate separation anxiety, joint pain, allergies, and more. Mother and daughter Charlotte Bloom and Lindsay Poe wanted to open a business that provided healthy foods and treats for dogs who are gluten-intolerant, along with a retail boutique with unique products. 424 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, 949-715-9900, nakeddogbistro.com

Style your best friend with some fashionable sweaters and bandanas from the online boutique Charlie & Me. Dress up your pup in a distressed hoodie, a sequined poodle shirt, a floral Louis Vuitton collar, or even a Gucci bow tie. Your dog will definitely be the best-dressed pup during your neighborhood walks. Aside from the fashion staples, the boutique also offers dog backpacks, pillows, treat jars, and comfortable cushion beds. charlieandme.us

Park Bench Cafe
One of our favorite places to dine with dogs, Park Bench Cafe is conveniently located inside Huntington Beach Central Park. Take a stroll around the park before sitting down to enjoy items from both the regular menu as well as the special dog menu featuring items such as the Hound Dog Heaven (ground beef) and the Bow Wow Wow (cut-up chicken breast). 17732 Goldenwest St., Huntington Beach, 714-842-0775, parkbenchcafe.com
