IRVINE IMPROV LIVE COMEDY
To mark the end of summer, the Irvine Improv is taking their stage outdoors to the top of the Irvine Spectrum Center’s Regal parking deck. Experience a live comedy show featuring comedians such as Craig Robinson (“The Office”) and Joel McHale (“Community”) from the comfort of your own vehicle. These real-time performances will be projected onto a 50-foot screen. Shows start at 8:00pm, and tickets range from $125 to $150 per vehicle. Pack the car for three nights of big-screen fun with a stellar lineup of movies on Southern California’s largest outdoor inflatable screen. Friday kicks off with the feel-good film “The Sandlot,” with the classic “The Princess Bride” on Saturday, and the action-packed “Ford v Ferrari” on Sunday. STAR WARS TRILOGY MARATHON
The Frida Cinema’s Summer Pop-Up Drive In series presents the original Star Wars trilogy at Zion Lutheran Church of Anaheim. The series will kick off on Friday night with “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope” and end on Sunday with “Return of the Jedi.” Gates open at 5:30 p.m., the film begins at 8 p.m., and tickets start at $30 per vehicle. Autosonic Concerts presents their Drive-In Concert Series, a three-day long extravaganza featuring three different cover bands. Sept. 25 introduces Which One’s Pink?, an ode to Pink Floyd, taking the stage at 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. On Sept. 26, Queen Nation, a Queen cover band who performed over 160 shows across America and internationally in 2019, performs at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sept. 27 hosts Dead Man’s Party, Oingo Boingo’s greatest tribute band, performing at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets range from $75 to $199 per vehicle. OC FAIR FOOD DRIVE-THRU
With the cancellation of the OC Fair this year, the OC Fair & Event Center will be hosting a Fair Food Drive-Thru for fans to get their food fix. The fairgrounds in Costa Mesa will have five vendors serving delectable treats ranging from cookies, ice cream, Hawaiian chicken bowls, and funnel cakes. The drive-thru will be open throughout September, every Friday & Saturday noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday noon to 6 p.m. Vehicles can enter and exit from Gate 1, no admission fees required.
