Lido Marina Village sets a new standard for seaside shopping. Instead of arcades and hot dogs, expect a well-curated, coastal-chic destination with boutiques offering coveted local and SoCal brands. Here are a few favorites, so climb aboard for a little tour.
1 Clare V
Since Clare Vivier stepped onto the scene nearly a decade ago, her bags have been a sensation with everyone from cool girls to working women. Her signature leather totes marry effortless French flair with preppy details such as monograms and bold stripes. The boutique offers all the Clare V classics from totes to pouches to tassels, as well as her signature monogramming service—a fashion must!
2 Elyse Walker
Walker, who opened her eponymous boutique in Pacific Palisades more than 17 years ago, has been a go-to staple for fashion mavens and celebs who love her mix of lust-worthy designer pieces and must-have denim and T-shirts (see Tastemakers on Page 44). The new 12,000-square-foot store is a glittering expansion of her vision, complete with a shop-in-shop just for colorful resort wear and fine jewelry displayed in the building’s original bank vault.
3 Steven Alan
The first Orange County shop from this designer, a former New York retailer, offers casual clothing and accessories for men and women. The breezy boutique is a combination of Alan’s own designs—his signature reverse-seam button-down shirts, oversize knits, watches, optical line, and more—and his curated picks from other brands, including Black Crane, Nili Lotan, and sweaters by Demylee.

4 Alchemy Works/Warby Parker
The bold, black exterior of Alchemy Works jumps out amid Lido Marina’s many crisp white buildings and storefronts. Once inside, you’ll again be wooed by the chic black-and-white space, which surprises with the inclusion of two shops within the space. In front, there’s the Warby Parker Map Room—the popular eyewear company’s first O.C. location. And in the back is the menswear boutique, Apolis. This concept store, owned by husband-and-wife team Raan and Lindsay Parton, also offers jewelry, ceramics, home accessories, and more, from local and global artisans.
5 Bailey 44
If this brand isn’t on your radar, it’s time to check it out. Usually found at boutiques and department stores, Bailey 44 celebrates its beautifully constructed, contemporary women’s clothing line with this flagship shop. Known for crafting chic classics with an edge—form-fitting dresses, essential blazers, ponte leggings—the brand reflects an obsessive attention to detail at a price that fits most budgets. The best part? The charming little Studio La Fleur floral shop located inside. Fresh fashion. Fresh flowers. We’re sold.
