Bop while you shop back-to-school
The end of the summer doesn’t have to be sad! Think of it as a chance to go shopping!
This week (Aug. 18-20) Irvine Spectrum’s Endless Summer Festival kicks off back-to-school shopping with tons of events guaranteed to make you forget that you actually have to go back to school.
• Multiple skate ramps, demos, lessons and open skate sessions hosted by Active Ride Shop Skate Village at Edwards Court.
• A year-book photo booth at the Carousel Court
• And in front of the Giant Wheel an airstream beauty lounge hosted by Nordstrom featuring complimentary hairstyling by T3 and makeovers by Dior and MAC.
• In-store parties each day from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at select retailers such as Anthropologie, Cotton On, Active Ride Shop, Hurley I NIKE SB, Quiksilver, Irene’s Story, Old Navy, Windsor and Tillys.
And on Friday, Aug. 19 at 7:30, rising pop star Alessia Cara will perform hits — “Here” and “Wild Things” — from her debut album, “Know-It-All.”
“This event officially marks the start of one of our busiest shopping seasons at Irvine Spectrum Center,” said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties. “It’s our way to help shoppers find everything they need as they head back to school, plus extend sum-mertime fun.”
