COVER STORY
10 Great Walks Here are some of the county’s most beautiful and fascinating places to amble—by the sea, in the hills, and on neighborhood sidewalks. What’s the boundary between a walk and a hike? A walk tends to be within or adjacent to civilization, as opposed to being in the wilderness. Walks are local by nature. People outside the immediate area don’t tend to even know about them—which is why we’re telling you about 10 of the best here. You’ll also find downloadable, printable PDF guides to each of the walks, and links to the routes through the MapMyHike app.
