Garden District
The name of this new juice bar makes sense as soon as you walk through the door: Sunlight beams down through skylights onto lush green plants lining the walls. The menu also features greens in its fresh, organic juices ($7 to $11), such as the Green Street, a blend of kale, spinach, apple, lemon, and ginger. 712½ Marina Drive, 562-342-9826

Devynn’s Garden
Containers filled with roses, sunflowers, and other seasonal blooms line the sidewalk outside this modern, inviting flower shop with polished concrete floors and exposed wood beams. You can pick a few on your own, splurge on a premade bouquet ($30), or ask one of the florists to craft a custom arrangement. 712 Marina Drive, 562-594-0104

Koi
Tucked in an unremarkable building, this family-owned sushi restaurant might not stand out as you cruise by on PCH. But it has been a local favorite since it opened in 1980 for the deftly carved, ultrafresh fish it brings in daily, including the bluefin tuna and red snapper used to create melt-in-your-mouth sashimi and rolls. 600 Pacific Coast Highway, 562-431-1186
