Damasq Café, is a local family-owned restaurant featuring fast, healthy Halal-certified Mediterranean cuisine in Corona del Mar. Chef Jamal Diab creates mouth-watering selections made with fresh herbs, bell peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and eggplant. Jamal’s menu also includes tender flame-grilled beef and chicken infused with flavorful spices, homemade Habanero, Tahini and Garlic “Secret” Sauces.
History – Established in 2015
Coming from the lands of the Mediterranean, our recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and are now being produced in the oceanside city of Corona Del Mar. The food of our ancestors has a delectable consistency of health and seasoning that is now available to the public for all to enjoy.
Meet the Business Owner – Jamal D.
Jamal came to the United States in 1978 from Syria and has delved into various business ventures, however, his longterm passion has always been cooking the recipes of his origin and seeking happiness from those that enjoy his cuisine. From feeding his children to celebrities, Jamal is now able to relish in giving a spoonful of his heritage to those in the Corona Del Mar community.
