Multicultural story times …

We have six story times in different languages: English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Persian, and Arabic. There’s also a craft afterward based on the theme of the story.

STEM programs …

We have STEM and STEAM programs like STEMpowerHer that’s done by students
from University High. The volunteers are girls who want to bring awareness to those areas
of expertise.

Learning to read aloud …

Read to a Dog is done on a monthly basis, and all the dogs are registered in the Beach Animals Reading with Kids Program. We had a child who had never read aloud before, but he went to the Read to a Dog program and read aloud. His mother was so proud!
