Let’s face it. All that walking, waiting, and ride hopping that you’ll do at Disneyland can work up an appetite. If you’re not ready to sit down to a full meal, then grabbing a quick snack or drink may be just the thing you need to recharge and keep up with the rest of the thrill seekers. Our favorite park noshes worth a try:
Cove Bar – Mickey’s Fun Wheel $10.25
This colorful, fruity cocktail is on the secret menu. Tequila, rum, and passion fruit vodka are layered with pineapple juice, blue curaçao, and topped with lemon foam.
Carnation Café – Deep-Fried Pickles $6.50
Served piping hot, the pickle spears are breaded in Parmesan and Panko making them keep their crispiness longer then you’d expect.
Cozy Cone Motel – Chili Cone Queso $7.50
Forget the bread bowl. For a warm, handheld treat, try this bread cone filled with beef chili, cheddar cheese, and Fritos. Vegetarian chili also available.
Maurice’s Treats – Cheddar Garlic Bagel Twist $4
In the relatively new Fantasy Faire area of the park, indulge in this savory breadstick loaded with flavor. Perfect for tearing and sharing.
Hungry Bear Restaurant – Onion Rings $3.75
The batter makes all the difference in these perfectly fried onion rings. Enjoy some as a side or on a burger as you relax by the Rivers of America.
Pooh Corner – Chocolate-Covered Pineapple Spear $4.25
For a refreshing and somewhat healthy dessert, you can’t go wrong with a ripe piece of pineapple dipped in dark chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate.
