Wild Up Plays Julius Eastman

Combining classical music with pop culture and performance art, this unconventional music group has been nominated for a Grammy Award and has been lauded by critics since the band’s founding in 2010. In this outdoor concert, they’ll perform music by composer and concert pianist Julias Eastman as part of the launch for their latest recording, “Julius Eastman Vol. 1 Femenine.”  June 17 at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Carnivorous Plant Show

June 19 - June 20

“Sweat”

“Harold and Lillian”

This installment in the Pacific Playwrights Festival tells the story of Hollywood storyboard artist Harold Michelson and film researcher Lillian Michelson, who eloped after World War II and were married for six decades.
