Nelson, a former tribal chairman of the La Jolla Indian Reservation, has nine blues albums to his name and won the Best Blues Recording award at the 2018 Native American Music Awards. In this virtual concert, he’ll discuss the relationship between blues music and Native American issues in a Q&A before performing live.
