Joe Spano and JoBeth Williams star in this staged reading of the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama that follows Weller Martin, a longtime nursing home resident who refuses to interact with other residents until Fonsia Dorsey moves in. The pair begin to play regular games of gin rummy, discussing their lives over cards. But as Fonsia wins hand after hand, the games and conversations get more and more combative.
