Father-daughter duo Sergio and Clarice Assad join with Third Coast Percussion for this concert, which audiences can attend live at the Irvine Barclay Theatre or stream via the Philharmonic Society website. Sergio, a guitarist known for his interpretations of classical works, performed with his brother in the Assad Brothers duo for many years, while Clarice, a vocalist and pianist, is also a Grammy-nominated composer. The four-person ensemble Third Coast Percussion won a Grammy in 2016 for its album “Third Coast Percussion | Steve Reich.”
