“Kickin’ Back at Sherman Gardens”
June 15 - September 5
SHERMAN LIBRARY & GARDENS WELCOMES SUMMER
WITH EXTENDED HOURS AND NEW EXPERIENCES
Enjoy Endless Summer Weekends “Kickin’ Back” at Sherman Gardens
Now through September 22
The public is invited to experience “Kickin’ Back at Sherman Gardens,” a summer exhibit of colorful, funky and oversized outdoor furniture on display throughout the gardens starting now through September 22.
Climb into and onto colossal classic summer furniture pieces, including: a humongous hot pink Adirondack chair, a gigantic striped sling chair, a garden daybed with soft pillows, the tasseled tree hammock, an outdoor swing, and a retro rattan peacock chair embellished with palm fronds and Tillandsia. “This summer exhibit really stands out! It’s fun pop art designed for great social media moments and guaranteed to delight guests of all ages,” said Sherman Gardens Director Scott LaFleur.
Summer hours are extended too. On Sundays throughout the summer, Sherman Gardens will remain open until 8:00 p.m. “Evenings in the garden are my favorite. As the cool breeze kicks up and the angle of the sun changes the light in the garden, night blooming flowers start to open and different creatures begin their pollinating shift. I want to share this special time in the Gardens with everyone,” added LaFleur.
Chef Pascal Olhats is back in the kitchen with his all new Sunday Rosé Dinners. Café Jardin is open for Sunday dinners by reservation at 949.673.0033.
Sherman Library & Gardens is located at 2647 E. Coast Hwy. in Corona del Mar, California. For more information, visit www.slgardens.org or call 949.673.2261.
