Festa dell’Autunno, Pelican Hill’s annual Italian-themed fall festival, returns to the resort the weekend of Oct. 10 with activities ranging from a street fair with pizza, wine tasting, and roving performers to an elegant alfresco dinner dance and Sunday jazz brunch. And little ones haven’t been left out—Carnevale dei Bambini has two sessions on Oct. 11: traditional Italian crafts in the morning, and pizzamaking in the afternoon.
A highlight of the fest is a special wine dinner at Andrea Ristorante on Friday, Oct. 10, a partnership with Michelin two-star Ristorante San Domenico in Bologna. San Domenico chef Massimiliano Mascia and Andrea head chef Marco Criscuolo collaborated on a menu of seasonal dishes including egg-yolk ravioli San Domenico, rosemary roasted quail, and stuzzichini with robiola, polenta, and white truffle fondue. Criscuolo, formerly Andrea’s sous chef, assumed the kitchen helm earlier this year after Luigi Fineo’s departure.
