Orange Coast’s restaurant critic Gretchen Kurz tells ToOC that Corona del Mar’s popular Crow Bar & Kitchen, which opened in 2007 as the first of Orange County’s gastropubs—that still-growing-with-no-end-in-sight restaurant category—is no longer under the wing of founding chef and partner Scott Brandon. Still on the scene is co-founder Steve Geary, though he has no news yet on a replacement chef. Brandon is consulting and spending time with his family, and has a solo project in the works, which the magazine will have more about later.
