Boudin Bakery Goes BOGO One Better

National Clam Chowder Day? It exists!

You’ve heard of a BOGO—buy one, get one free—deal. In honor of National Clam Chowder Day, Boudin Bakery is taking the concept a step further: BOG—buy one get two. And it all starts with the Bay Area bakery’s quasi-iconic signature dish.

On Thursday, Feb. 25, every order of everybody’s favorite clam chowder in a sourdough bowl will earn another free one. But hang on to your receipt—it becomes a voucher for a second BOGO deal on a future visit (through March 11): a free entrée with purchase of one. All from a single bowl of soup… in a sourdough bowl.

I keep hoping Boudin will start making their superb corn rye in Southern California—it’s available in their San Francisco point of origin, but not down here. Maybe someday. Find Orange County Boudin bakery-cafés in Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Irvine, and Santa Ana.
