Spanish wines have been hot for several years as they are not only affordable and cellar worthy, but oozing personality with their showcase of spice and sass.
Sapphire Laguna will showcase these riches with a five-course dinner of Spanish wines curated by The Organic Cellar at 6 p.m. Jan. 24. The wines of Spain, such as the interesting tempranillo and verdejo varietals, will beautifully complement the global cuisine of renowned Chef Azmin Ghahreman. The Sapphire Laguna team noted this Spanish wine dinner is the launch of its 2019 seasonal wine program, stating: “We plan on having seasonal wine dinners throughout the year to keep our guests excited — and our kitchen staff, too! We love coming up with dishes that are memorable and only available for one night.”
Sapphire Laguna chose to work with local wine specialist, The Organic Cellar, because they “share the same commitment to community, service, and quality.”
The Organic Cellar also curates the OC Wine Cruise in Dana Point.
There are just 50 seats available for this five-course night of wine and food treasures. The cost is $150 per person all inclusive, which begins with appetizers and cava, Spain’s sparkling wine.
