The beers have all been opened, the beer judges for the 2016 Los Angeles International Beer Competition have all Ubered home safely, and the results are in: Orange County breweries took home 22 medals out of 97 categories with two honorable mentions. TAPS Fish House & Brewery hit the jackpot; of the eight beers it submitted, seven of them won a medal in their category. And if you need further proof Orange County is home of the lager as I previously reported, a quick scan of the L.A. International Beer Competition winners will put the froth on your stein, with seven of the delicate beer styles getting recognition. And the winners are:
