If you’ve kept up with and sampled all the cocktails I’ve featured in this space, then it’s a good bet that you like to indulge. And if that’s true, today’s post will really interest you. Last Sunday, I popped into Who Song and Larry’s for their Hangover Brunch, which happens weekly.
At $25 per person, guests feeling woozy from the night before can cure what ails them with a seemingly endless buffet of Mexican-inspired dishes. Craving make-your-own breakfast burritos? Omelets? Waffles? Done, done, and done. If this doesn’t entice, would it help if I told you that nearly every dish on the menu incorporates bacon in some way?
With so many choices, it’s hard to know where to start, so here’s my choice for star of the show—the signature Hangover Fries. Made with fresh-cut potatoes, and piled high with pork made three ways, the fries are served piping hot in a mini cast-iron skillet and finished off with a spoonful of pico de gallo and guacamole.
If you’re looking for a little hair-of-the-dog, go for the bottomless mimosas, which I took full advantage of—or a design-your-own bloody mary bar with all the fixings. Even if you don’t go crazy on Saturdays, this place has you covered on Sundays.
