Sol Cocina’s Horchata MartiniSOL_HorchataMartini

This drink is made with a tea infused Don Julio Reposado. We will be using Good Earth brand spiced tea. Leave one tea bag to steep for 24 hours in a bottle of Don Julio reposado.

The Martini:
1.5 oz. Tea Infused Don Julio Reposado
1 oz. 1921 Crema
2 oz. Horchata
Dusted with cinnamon on top

House Horchata Recipe:
The recipe makes 1/2 of a gallon, so double it to make a bigger batch if need be.
Blend for 3 minutes- 1 whole vanilla bean, 1 cup of uncooked rice, and 3 cups of water.
After blending let sit for 30 mins.
Blend again with 2 or 3 sticks of cinnamon.
Over ice in a large container, add what you just blended, .5 cups whole milk, 1.5 cups of sugar, and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Strain and it’s ready…
