Grab a drink at Coffee Dose inside East Eighteenth salon. Whether you’re waiting to get your next hairdo or you’re just stopping in for a matcha or coffee, you’ll have a hard time keeping your phone in your pocket because of the cheeky sayings printed on the cups and the Instagram-worthy mural on the patio. Perks for Parent and Child
There’s something for kids and adults alike at the free Little Lido Kids Club at Lido Marina Village. Every third Thursday, children are treated to stories, crafts, and music while their parents shop deals at the stores and grab food from cafes at the waterfront retail center. Take a moment while you’re shopping the latest line at the two-story Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza to watch as artisans create and restore the brand’s leather products at its first in-store atelier in the country. Voluspa’s first brick-and-mortar shop, at Fashion Island, carries all of the popular brand’s scents under one roof. From candles and body sprays to diffusers, you could spend hours smelling all the products here. Cleverly, the store also sells a selection of roses in various colors. Mobile Thrift Boutique
Curated by FIDM grad Crystal Melendez, Popsikle Shop is a treasure trove of upcycled and thrifted finds, all displayed in a traveling turquoise trailer. Check Instagram at @popsikleshop weekly for items you’ll want to pick up, from vintage sunglasses to one-of-a-kind statement pieces.
