O.C. Shop or Boutique

I got new clubs at Roger Dunn Golf Store. They have a 90-day exchange policy, so I have switched out my putter three times because I can’t seem to get it to work right.

My favorite shop in O.C. is A Hidden Vine in Mission Viejo on the lake. It’s a wine shop with cheese and charcuterie (all my favorite things) where you can purchase to take out, or even better, sit down and enjoy with a lake view! The owners, staff, and regulars are the best and I love my nights that I spend there.

One of my favorite shops in O.C. is Gunthers. They are located in downtown Santa Ana and specialize in work wear and heritage items. There are very few shops that supply a good pair of jeans, Pendeltons, and Ben Davis all together. Did I mention they are run by fellow Santaneros?

I love to shop at Michael Nusskern in Newport Beach. They have beautifully curated pieces, and I actually always seem to run into some of our guests there, too.

Place to Go in O.C.

Anthony Dismuke, bread maker at Journeyman’s Food + Drink
If I’m not in the kitchen (rare), I enjoy playing basketball with my buddy at Lemon Park in Fullerton. Another favorite thing to do is check out local bands—any genre but specifically funk, jazz, hip hop, and alternative—at the Continental Room in downtown Fullerton or at the Observatory.

I love Dog Beach in Huntington Beach. My dog, Dallas, loves going there. It is so peaceful to walk down there with my feet in the water, watching how happy my dog is running around in the sand and playing with the other dogs.

We live in Newport Beach, so we like to start our day with a long walk along the beach. We always stop at Porravida and finish our walk with a fresh juice or smoothie.

I visit The Camp in Costa Mesa fairly often, either to buy something or just to grab a bite in one of the restaurants. I live nearby so it’s quite convenient.
