Batiste is the leader of Stay Human, the house band on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and a jazz prodigy as a soloist. Born and raised in the suburbs of New Orleans, he trained at Juilliard and released his first album when he was 17. “KNIGHTS IN SHINING ARMOR”
